I'm Hannah, a North Wales artist who paints the folklore hiding in the landscape right outside my door.

Working in ink, watercolour and coloured pencil, I draw the animals, plants and historical figures I keep coming back to — swirling lines and watercolour bleeds I let run their own course, so each piece keeps a bit of that unplanned, magic quality rather than looking too neat or controlled.

Living surrounded by Welsh hills and folktales, I'm constantly trying to interpret the strange, quiet magic of this place — the sense that the landscape has its own stories, and my job is just to catch a glimpse of one.

I've partnered with local conservation and heritage projects — including Wrexham AONB, the Canal & River Trust's Navigating Through Time, and the Dee Valley Clean Up — bringing that same eye for the landscape to work that helps people connect with it too.
