Every winter, long before the lights go up or the first mince pie appears, something ancient and comforting happens: people gather branches, berries, and evergreens and begin the quiet ritual of wreath-making. It’s a tradition that has survived centuries — a little circle of nature that brings us together. Some of us do it around a kitchen table with friends, some in workshops filled with laughter, and some in peaceful solitude year after year. There’s a joy to it… a sense of crafting something with your hands that will greet you every time you open your front door.
That same joy is what pulled me into creating my Festive Wreath Collection — four illustrated wreaths inspired by vintage botanical plates: Pinecones, Ivy, Holly, and Mistletoe. Each one feels like a tiny keepsake from winter’s garden, complete with their Latin names and the classic numbered-plate style that makes them feel collectable, timeless, and a little bit romantic.
